This research project brings together scholars from Business & Economics and Arts to develop new interdisciplinary measures of impact and sustainability that are valid and relevant within the social enterprise sector. The project looks at the theoretical, practical and financial factors that predict the successful development and sustainability of creative social enterprises which aim to address social exclusion and inequity in access to employment and education. The research will develop a new methodology for measuring how and in what ways socially marginalised individuals can improve their economic opportunity through art and entrepreneurship.
