UPDATE
This event will now be held fully online

A Multidisciplinary Research and Engagement Conference

The Melbourne Social Equity Insitute is proud to be supporting this one-day event, organised by  Dr Victor Sojo (University of Melbourne), Dr Melissa Wheeler (Swinburne University of Technology) and Professor  Michelle Ryan (Australian National University).

This conference has been designed to bring together talent from academia and the broader public and private sectors (both for-profit and not-for-profit) to participate in respectful, professional and rigorous debate about gender and sexuality at work.

We aim to learn from each other, to find better ways to work together in building the knowledge base required to address gender and sexuality at work in healthy and productive ways.

The Melbourne Social Equity Institute is co-sponsoring two best paper awards. One will be awarded to the best submission from an Early Career Researcher and the other from a Higher Degree Research student. The awards will be based on the assessments of expert reviewers of the papers and of the Academic Executive Committee.

The organisers of the Gender and Sexuality at Work conference invite submissions on work issues relevant to individuals with specific gender identities, sexual orientations or sexual characteristics, as well as comparisons across these and other intersecting life dimensions. The research can be local, from specific regions around the world or cross-national.
