New PhD Program Launching in Semester 2, 2017

The Melbourne Social Equity Institute is launching a new interdisciplinary PhD program in semester two, 2017. The program will bring together doctoral candidates from across the University of Melbourne to focus on issues related to refugees and forced migration.

The program will include advanced research training informed by a range of disciplinary, theoretical and philosophical perspectives. Ethics and research methods will be key components of the program, as will approaches for communicating research to diverse audiences across and beyond the academy.

Eligible students can be at any stage of their PhD candidature and will remain enrolled in their current departments.

Expressions of interest to join the program should be submitted by 5pm on Thursday 1 June.
