The guest speaker for the first MAEVe seminar of 2020 is Associate Professor Marcos Signorelli from Federal University of ParanĂ¡, Brazil.

Associate Professor Signorelli is in Melbourne as part of a three-week study visit with the Safer Families Centre of Research Excellence.

His research interests involve the intersections between gender, violence and health, particularly violence against women and violence against LGBTI+ people, with a focus on primary health care and multi-sectoral interventions in low-and-middle-income settings
